COLLECTION AND DELIVERY OF SPENT BATTERIES TO JSC “ALMATY ELECTRIC POWER STATIONS”, ” HAND OVER BATTERIES-PROTECT OUR PLANET!”AND REPORTS ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPAIGNS “SAVE OUR GREEN PLANET”, AIMED AT COLLECTING WASTE PAPER, TRANSMITTING IT TO THE PUBLIC.

The purpose of the campaign is to attract the attention of the company’s employees to separate garbage collection and general ecology, to form an active social position and acquire skills in handling hazardous waste.

The goal of the campaign is to organize and deliver an active collection of used batteries for their subsequent disposal, as well as collect and send several tons of waste paper for recycling, thereby preserving dozens of trees, as well as developing a culture of careful attitude to resources and environmental responsibility at the corporate level.

Description of the promotion: until October 31, participants of the promotion will collect used batteries for further transfer to the company involved in their disposal, and paper waste generated in the company’s daily work process – office paper, magazines, advertising printing, newspapers, old and used books, paper packaging, cardboard. At the end of the promotion, all collected waste paper is transferred to a specialized organization for processing in accordance with the concluded contract.

In the production department, out-of-use batteries must be handed over to the department’s responsible environmentalists, who are accepted at the main office in room 234.

Participants: all employees of the Company.

Requirements for environmental promotions:

Accepted:

all types of used (used) batteries (finger, crown, barrel, tablet);

batteries for mobile phones and children’s toys.

Used batteries are accepted in boxes, cartons, or thick plastic bags.

Accepted:

magazines, old and unsuitable books, newspapers;

cardboard and corrugated cardboard packaging, archives;

Before delivery, the waste paper is placed in boxes that can be tied with a rope or rope.

Waste paper delivery terms and conditions:

paper and cardboard must be dry, clean, on both sides;

documents and prefabricated items are accepted without brackets, without files;

products must not contain varnish, chemicals or oil.

Campaign stages:

April 18, 2022-Campaign Announcement;

Until October 28, 2022-battery reception and measurement;

October 31, 2022 – Summing up the battery collection results.
