ZTK conducted cascade training on actions during an earthquake

On February 21, 2023, ZTK employees conducted emergency training. The lesson was attended by 32 people, the station management, the heads of the boiler electrical workshop, the chemical service, the motor transport department, the gas service, etc. Cascade training involves the transfer of knowledge and monitoring its assimilation along the chain from the boss to the worker.

“We analyzed in detail the actions before, during and after the earthquake,” shared Almas Niyazbekov, chief of staff of the Civil Defense and Emergency Department. – We dwelled on the contents of an emergency suitcase in case of an earthquake, considered measures for non-structural seismic protection of buildings and structures, and the principles of operation of the Darmen mobile application.

Aliaskar Medenov, head of the boiler shop, believes that it is necessary to refresh knowledge constantly.

“It seems like everyone already knows everything.” What should you do during the first shocks of an earthquake? What needs to be done in the first 15-20 seconds during the first shocks of an earthquake? What to do if an earthquake catches you on the street? What can and cannot be done during an earthquake? But in reality, everyone gets lost and forgets,” Aliaskar continued.

Cascade training will allow workers to refresh and strengthen their knowledge of earthquake response.
